NC ASSP Chapter Technical Meeting – September 2026

Samantha Royster is the Training and Exercise Coordinator for Wake County Emergency Management, where she oversees the county’s Disaster Service Worker Program and develops and coordinates training and exercises to strengthen emergency preparedness, response, and resilience. She has worked in emergency management since 2014, including previous experience with North Carolina Emergency Management.

Throughout her career, Samantha has focused on developing skilled and confident emergency management professionals, disaster service workers, and volunteers. She is passionate about building strong partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and organizations to prepare for and respond effectively to disasters.
