Speaker: W. Jon Wallace, MBA, CSP

W. Jon Wallace, CSP, MBA is the President of Workplace Safety. Jon is a Certified Safety Professional with three decades of occupational safety experience and is nationally recognized in the area of occupational safety.  His industrial experience includes Mobil Oil and Hercules.  In addition to safety consulting, Jon is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the School of Public Health at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He teaches various safety topics including NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety as well as OSHA compliance courses. Jon is frequently interviewed on TV concerning workplace fatalities and has been a regular guest on ESPN’s “Outside the Lines.” Jon’s hobbies include WVU sports and triathlons – he is a three-time Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon finisher.  Jon is also a former chapter President of the North Carolina chapter.

Directions:

When you turn on Corporate Parkway, take the main entrance into the facility and park in Visitor Parking or any open space in front of the facility.  Please be reminded that the traffic flow through the parking lot is One Way, so you will not be able exit the same way you entered.  Watch for traffic in the parking lot (recommend using the pedestrian crosswalk) and report to Security.  Tell them you are here for the ASSP Technical Meeting and your host is Greg McGuire.
